Posted by ESPN.com's Mike Sando The Seahawks' decision to sign Lions free-agent tight end John Owens indicated Seattle probably would not re-sign free-agent tight end Will Heller. With Heller no longer in Seattle's plans,Greece Euro 2012 Shirts, the Lions signed him Monday. The Seahawks like Owens as a blocking tight end to pair with John Carlson,Portugal Euro 2012 shirts, who led Seattle in receptions last season. Heller has been a dependable backup. He started six games in 2007. Expect Owens and Heller to both serve as backups in 2009. Heller is the fifth of Seattle's unrestricted free agents to sign with another team. He joins a growing contingent of former Seattle players in Detroit. Maurice Morris and Julian Peterson are also there. Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan must have been paying attention to the Seahawks' roster during his years as the Rams' head coach.
