France mourns Gérard Enault
French football and the European football family are in mourning following the death of Gérard Enault, an emblematic figure within the French footballing landscape.Chief executive of the French Football Federation (FFF) from 1993 to 2005, Gérard Enault served in particular as head of the bidding committee for France's candidacy to host the 1998 FIFA World Cup. The French national team enjoyed numerous moments of glory under his aegis,euro shirts, notably their successes at the 1998 World Cup,Greece Euro 2012 Shirts, UEFA EURO 2000 and the FIFA Confederations Cups of 2001 and 2003.UEFA President Michel Platini has extended his sympathy to the FFF,chelsea shirt 2012, and paid tribute to the achievements of Mr Enault over the course of his career.
